when i go into the alarm mode after SNZ there is something called SIG and there is a timing for which i can put it on but what is that sig ????

Oh, OK. What G-Shock model is it? Is it atomic?
I've seen that on my Riseman and I think it stands for Signal. Look up the manual for it and it should say for sure:

I looked it up in the manual here:
http://mygshock.com/casio-manual/3095/3It's for turning the "Hourly Time Signal" off and on. It's that beep at the top of every hour.
A lot of G-Shocks have this feature, but I never turn it on.

Yeah, that's one of the weird things about Casios. There's a whole alarm screen dedicated for nothing more than a place to turn the hourly chime Off and On. That's ALL you can do on that screen. Try pressing the upper right button and you should see a tiny little indicator appear or disappear on the display to indicate that the hourly chime is on or off.
